Fan goes wild for Katy
It’s official – Katy Perry’s biggest fan is a British teenager called Jack Moore.
In the recently filmed mini-documentary Katy & I, the 16-year-old shows off his impressive collection of memorabilia (4000-plus photos, a fan, coffee mugs, posters, a guitar pick, CDs and even a light switch cover … ) and talks about the reaction he gets from family and friends when they learn about the extent of his obsession.
“I just want to know everything about her and everything that she does I just have to know, and watch it, and look at it, and listen to it, and buy it and get the pictures,” Jack says in his four-minute film.
“I like Katy Perry more than family.”
The Olly Newport-directed doco also highlights some of the negative attention Jack’s love for Katy has attracted, including homophobic tweets calling him a “faggot” and a “twat”.
