Fry goes Gaga
Lady Gaga is making sure she covers every demographic in her tireless Born This Way promotional campaign by sitting down with British comedian Stephen Fry for the Financial Times
The odd couple – Stephen wore a suit, Mother Monster came dressed as a viking – shared tea and biscuits while discussing the superstar’s chart-topping new album.
She finally admits that Madonna was one of her main influences and also names David Bowie and Michael jackson as inspirations.
Gaga also talks about her public image, saying “It’s not what I’m saying that pisses people off, it’s that I have anything to say at all!”
Other interesting tidbits to emerge from the interview include the revelation that she went bankrupt just before her royalty cheques started rolling in and the fact she bought her father a new Rolls Royce – and heart valve!
