Jane Lynch ridicules anti-gay food chain

Glee co-star and openly gay comedian Jane Lynch has not been shy in voicing her opinion regarding an American fast-food chain’s anti-gay donations.

Lynch, who was the roast master of a recent Comedy Central tribute to Rosanne Barr, launched the event with some choice words for outspokenly conservative franchise, Chick-fil-A.

After taking the stage, Lynch scanned the room, filled with other female comedy luminaries and immediately laid into the company.

“This show is serving up more old spoiled hens than a Chick-Fil-A. Oh, that reminds me … f*ck Chick-Fil-A,” she said.

In July, Chick-Fil-A COO Dan Cathy made several public statements about same-sex marriage, saying that those who “have the audacity to define what marriage is about” were “inviting God’s judgment on our nation”.

Rosanne Barr has also been an open critic of Chick-fil-A. Last month she tweeted that people who patronise them deserve the cancer they will get from “eating antibiotic filled tortured chickens 4Christ”.

Barr later apologised for the tweet.
