Jennifer Lopez plans next single

J Lo’s comeback continues to gather momentum as she plans the follow up to her international top 5 smash On The Floor.

American Idol’s newest judge dropped by B. Scott’s radio show to discuss her next move and told listeners she was deciding between an urban track with Lil’ Wayne called I’m Into You, a Caribbean-themed number and a RedOne-produced dance anthem.

“I don’t know exactly which song it’s gonna be,” she explained.

“We have different directions that we can go: One that has a Caribbean kind of dance feel, we have one that has more of an urban feel, and then we have a straight dance RedOne track.”

This is a tough one.

Jenny had smash after smash with rappers like LL Cool J and Ja Rule in the early noughties but dance music is so hot right now, so maybe the smart money is on the RedOne song.

Although we are intrigued by her calypso tune!

The diva’s seventh studio album Love? is due in May.
