Patrick Stewart’s hilarious response to gay rumours
IN an article about Hollywood actress Ellen Page’s coming out Ellen Page, the The Guardian newspaper incorrectly outed the newly-wed Star Trek and X Men actor Sir Patrick Stewart.
“Some gay people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page’s coming out speech is newsworthy”, the publication said.
The quickly corrected article still caused a worldwide reaction, including a tweeted response from actor who is a known LGBTI supporter.
Well, @guardian it makes for a nice change…at least I didn’t wake up to the internet telling me I was dead again.
