Kat Graham covers 90s classic Mr Vain
The Vampire Diaries actress and singer Kat Graham, who’s been making the rounds with a series of interesting covers of Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul classics, has turned her hand to Culture Beat’s 1993 hit Mr Vain.
Prominent music blogger ArjanWrites is already a fan:
“It’s not just any remake. When you listen closely you can hear that it includes a little sonic surprise from a song originally put out by Chaka Kahn that was later popularized by Stardust. This addition totally qualifies Graham’s fresh new 2011 version of ‘Mr Vain’ as a proper mash up.”
Graham made a name for her self during a tour stint with the Black Eyed Peas and her tribute to Janet Jackson and her original smash I Want It All was produced by JR Rotem.
