Katy Perry previews E.T.

Pop starlet Katy Perry has released a handful of still images from the music video filming of E.T. before the clip’s release on March 31.

In the pics (below), Mrs Brand is shown in full alien make-up – leaving no doubt about the music video’s theme.

The 26 year old pop star has spared no expense on the video in her bid to snag a 4th consecutive US number 1 hit from Teenage Dream.

She has been working on the clip for months, roped in Kanye West for a cameo and hired legendary music video director Floria Sigismondi to shore up proceedings.

And so far, the effort appears to have paid off.

E.T. has climbed to number two on this week’s Billboard’s chart.

With the video still to come, Katy’s chances of nabbing another number one looks pretty good.
