Ke$ha helps out Britney

Britney Spears has roped in the services of pop rival Ke$ha to write her new single ‘Til The World Ends.

It’s an unusual pairing given their very different images but Hold It Against Me was labelled a Ke$ha B-side by some critics, so Brit is clearly enamoured with the 24-year-old’s sound and it’s not the first time they have worked together.

Back in 2008 when K Dollar was still a struggling songwriter, she sang backing vocals on a Britney track called Leath & Lace.

The tables have since turned, but Ke$ha is still happy to write hits for Brit.

“That song is me imagining [Britney] or any female musician touring the world,” she told Spin magazine.

As for the song’s deep subject matter? It is about: “you know, when you go out, and you’re having an amazing, magical night and you don’t want to go to sleep and you want it to last until the world ends.”

The Max Martin and Dr Luke produced track is set for release on March 14.

Fingers crossed it sounds half as amazing as Ke$ha’s latest hit Blow (below).
