Lana Del Rey rides again
Ride is the latest single from hipster queen Lana Del Ray. The haunting new single comes with an epic 10-minute video, written by Del Rey herself and directed by Anthony Mandler. The widescreen video features dreamy, romantic and nostalgic Americana visions and poetic recollections of a life of a street walking wanderer.
“I believe in the country that America used to be. I believe in the person I want to become. I believe in the freedom of the open road. And my Motto is the same as ever; I believe in the kindness of strangers. And when I’m at war with myself… I just ride,” Del Ray says in the video.
The track features on the forthcoming Paradise EP and deluxe Paradise edition of her hit debut album Born to Die, which will feature eight new tracks including Ride. It’s set to be released in November. You can pre-order it right here.
