Minogue makes rich list

BRW’s Top 50 Entertainers List has been released, revealing how Australia’s top entertainers have survived the global downturn.

Kylie Minogue has re-entered the Top 10 with earnings of $15 million after being ranked in 26th place last year. This has her ranking ahead of AC/DC on this year’s list.

Television and film actors made up $121 million in combined earnings on the 2011 list, up from $113 million last year.

The Top 5 had live production and animatronics company Global Creatures at number pne, The Wiggles at two, followed by Naomi Watts, Michael Gudinski/Frontier Touring promoter and Nicole Kidman
at number five.

Kylie Minogue’s recent Aphrodite: Les Folies concert tour was recently released on a DVD/two-CD set, filmed live in London.
