Cynthia Nixon and her partner Christina Marioni are the proud parents of a baby boy.
Marioni recently gave birth to a baby boy, Maximillian Ellington, after a secret pregnancy.
It is Marioni’s first child and Nixon’s third, joining Samantha, 14, and Charles, eight, from Nixon’s previous relationship.
Nixon, famous for playing the fiesty by adorable Miranda Hobbs in Sex and the City, has been engaged to Marioni since 2009.
“Christine and baby are doing great,” a spokesperson told People.
Nixon has talked openly about her relationship with Christine.
“A lot of what I love about her is her butchness. I’m not saying I fell in love with her in a sexually neutral way. I love her sexuality, it’s a big part of what I love about her, but I feel like it was her. It wasn’t something in me that was waiting to come out. It was like, ‘This person is undeniable. How can I let this person walk by?’
“She’s basically a short man with boobs,” Nixon told The Advocate last year about her life partner.
The actress has also admitted that the revelation about her sexuality came as much as a surprise to her as it did the rest of the world.
“I was pretty shocked, I have to tell you,” she said. “It kind of made my day.”
