NEW Single for the Village People
You’d expect to read this headline in the 70’s or 80’s, but fear not, this is not a typo. The Village People – you remember those costume wearing, camp as a row of tent guys who brought the music world such classics as ‘Y.M.C.A’, ‘Macho Man’ and ‘In the Navy’ – are set to release a new dance single called ‘Let’s Go Back to the Dance Floor’.
According to the Village People’s official Facebook page, a press release was posted earlier today stating that the single will be available on iTunes and Amazon from Tuesday, August 6.
‘The Villagers’ will follow their single up with an American tour, a cruise in Australia and a fair appearance in Germany.
They also posted a promo clip for the single … Dare I ask, what do you think?
