No Doubt plot comeback
Gwen Stefani has confirmed that No Doubt will release its first album in over a decade by the end of 2011.
The band’s former frontwoman told Ryan Seacrest: “We’ve been going for a while trying to make this record and it’s been super challenging but really fun.
“We’re trying to enjoy the moment of writing and … it’s just a really fun process and I think it’s going to be out this year.
“We got about 10 songs done and we want to do a few more just in case, but it’s a really good record – I really love this record.”
It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since the release of Rock Steady, which produced hits like Hey Baby and Hella Good.
Since then Gwen has released two hugely successful solo albums and given birth to two sons.
Only time will tell if the band can re-capture its old magic but here’s a classic from 1997 to remind you exactly how good No Doubt was at their peak.
