Oprah visits celebrity gay dads
Oprah Winfrey has visited openly gay celebrity dads Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka at their home in an episode of her OWN network show Next Chapter, to discuss gay parenting.
The couple’s fraternal twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace were born October 12, 2010 through a surrogate using two eggs and two embryos.
Winfrey asked the couple about the challenges they’ve faced parenting, if one is more “maternal” than the other, and how they plan to tell the kids about the way in which they were conceived and born.
She also asks Harris and Burtka about their past relationships with women, and about when they realised they were gay.
