Robyn to support Katy Perry

Swedish pop diva Robyn has been named as Katy Perry’s support act on the North American leg of her California Dreams Tour.

The Dancing On My Own singer, who will open for Mrs Brand on 20 dates, expressed her admiration for her tourmate.

“It’ll be fun touring with Katy Perry,” Robyn said. “She’s a terrific performer and I’m really thankful that’s she’s invited me to play for her audience.”

The California Dreams tour has been a huge success so far with American shows selling out in minutes.

Katy has also won over fans by performing cute covers of Rihanna’s Only Girl In The World and Willow’s Whip My Hair (below).

There’s no word yet who will accompany Katy on the Australian leg of her tour but hopefully it’s someone as amazing as Robyn.
