milonov-pic4-452x302-89787Whilst speaking on BBC Radio, Russian politician Vatali Milonov called Stephen Fry “sick” and likened homosexuality to “bestiality”

“Who is this Stephen Fry?” Milonov told the station. “I know because he is sick person because he tried to commit suicide as far as I remember.”

Milanov, who is one of the men behind Russia’s new anti-gay laws, was speaking in response to Fry’s open letter to the IOC and British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Milonov continued, stating that  “[Homosexuality] is a shame and it is a sin but it is a personal choice. It is not normal but a person cannot be punished in Russia for being homosexual, or to live with a dog, with a horse, with a sheep, whatever.”

Fry recently admitted publicly that he is bipolar which almost drove him to taking his own life.
