Yes, Madonna took out the Super Bowl half-time show in trademark style, without a hint of subtlty.

STFU about miming. Madonna recorded new versions of all the songs for this medley, and she danced her MF arse off. If you wanted live singing on top of that from a 53 year old then you’re out of touch with reality. I thought this was an amazing piece of spectacular performance from everyone involved. Loved the “floor” videos and the peace message. Even Whitney mimed when she sang at Super Bowl. Even John Farnham mimed at Olympics 2000 – both finer vocalists that Madonna. It’s called theatre and it has no link to reality. Just enjoy and don’t pull it apart.
