Xtina finally has a hit!
It’s been a tough 12 months for Christina Aguilera with a flop album, maligned film debut and arrest for public drunkeness, but the 30-year-old diva finally has another hit on her hands.
Xtina’s popularity has been on the rise since taking over judging duties on US reality show The Voice and she’s taken full advantage of it by recording a new song with fellow judge Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5.
And Move Like Jagger, a funk-heavy jam reminiscent of Jamiroquai, has proved to be an instant hit – racing all the way to #1 on US iTunes in less than a day.
That’s an impressive feat without a video clip, promotion or radio airplay and a great sign for Christina’s impending music comeback.
Move Like Jagger isn’t available on Australian iTunes yet but it’s surely only a matter of time.
