With 10 years passing since their last studio album and with singer Marie Fredriksson suffering a brain tumour in the ensuing decade, few would’ve expected a new album from late-’80s Swedish hitmakers Roxette.

It’s unfortunate, then, that it’s a cheesy, largely dated collection. First single She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio) is as cringeworthy as the title suggests, while on Big Black Cadillac they reach for Goldfrapp-esque electro — and miss. Diehard fans will be happy to have them back, but few others will even notice.
