Election Poll: What did you think of Rudd’s equal marriage response on QandA?

ruddKevin Rudd has reinvigorated the same-sex marriage debate in the lead-up to the federal election whilst on QandA last night. Was his response to the question about his faith and support of same-sex marriage groundbreaking, as some have claimed, or was it just an echo of what the LGBTI community has been saying for decades?

  1. Rudd is a narcissist that looks to any group that will give him a few votes to hang on to power.
    He has failed the Labor Party the electorate and the Australian population.

    If he wins the Labor Party will be stuck with him for years. Due to his manipulating of the Labor Party constitution.

    No one persecutes gays or lesbians in Australia, but you are asking for the basis of the definition of marriage to be changed which was written in the Christian texts as its definition.

    To change these means that we fundamentally have to question our society and re visit the Ancient Greek and Roman civilisations which were denounced 2 thousand years or more ago.

    I live in a multi faith multi cultural society rejoice at that and that you choose who you live with sleep and let the marriage act stay as it is.

  2. Well said kevin and very true. We have to learn to stop judging and these religions seem to be the worst. Love your fellow man well stop judging and start loving and accepting ppl for who they are thats to all religions. Good on ya kevin very very well said
