Released on August 8, One World Music label head Leigh Wood’s first compilation in three years is a carefully selected playlist of 14 tracks from his own labelmates and beyond.
It’s a tasteful chillout compilation that gets off to a fine start with a remix of British band Submotion Orchestra’s All Yours that mixes together elements as disparate as dubstep, soul and jazz into one smooth whole.
Other standouts including Chris Coco’s Summer Sun, Ganga’s remix of Ronny Morris’ All About Love and Audio Shaman’s stellar track Tiger. Overall, it’s a subtle listening experience, ideal for a comedown in a comfy bar rather than soundtracking a big night out.
