Registration is now open for Tennis Sydney’s next mid-week competition, the spring Virginia Slims Tour.
Beginning in mid-October, the competition will run for approximately 13 weeks, including the semis and the final.
The competition is open to both doubles and singles players. Its four divisions range in difficulty, allowing both beginners and experienced players to participate.
The tournament is open only to members of Tennis Sydney.
Those competing can practise at social tennis every Sunday at the Parkland Tennis Centre in Moore Park from 1pm-5pm.
The Virginia Slims is one of three competitions run annually by Tennis Sydney. The Virginia Slims began in 1995, with just 16 players. Last year, there were 83 players across four divisions.
