Granta – Sex
English periodical Granta’s latest issue is devoted to that most beloved of pastimes, sex. From its witty, shocking cover onwards, the authors (and few photographers) included here approach the topic with admirable frankness and insight. Pleasingly for a ‘mainstream’ publication, there’s also a high queer quotient — from true-life confessions of a long-married man coming out as gay to a steamy retelling of covert gay activity in the military. It’s never salacious, but Sex is a pretty sexy read.
