HILLARY Clinton’s has changed the colours of her presidential campaign logo on social media to rainbow colours, symbolising her support for marriage equality.

The switch came the same day the US Supreme Court was set to hear oral arguments on same-sex marriage.

Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign logo designer Sol Sender said Clinton’s logo was a bold statement.

“If you boil it down it’s really a symbol of forward motion,” Sender told The Huffington Post.

Meanwhile, the Human Rights Campaign lobby group is prompting marriage equality supporters to use the hashtag #LoveCantWait and #LoveMustWin to support same-sex marriage.

Clinton’s beliefs have changed significantly since 2008 when she opposed same-sex marriage during her previous run for the presidency.

However, since 2013 she has spoken in favour of it, calling it a constitutional right.

Her reformed stance is also evident in her recent candidacy announcement video.

  1. Would rather have an aspiring President with us than against us – whatever her reasons.

  2. Hey, can we not use ‘gay marriage’ when referring to marriage equality? Every time you use ‘gay marriage’ you erase bisexual people (who aren’t gay by the way) who want to marry their same sex partners.

  3. 2016 Hillary for US President!

Remember it was her husband Bill Clinton way back in 1996 (19 years ago) hat signed into law both DOMA and DADT policies of the day! Since then DADT was repealed in 2012 and DOMA was declared unconstitutional by SCOTUS in 2013! Congress is still useless as ever, they still can not pass ENDA a simple law that will ban employment discrimination of LGBT people based on employment with businesses with 15 people or over within US federal law – that 28 states still lack to this day in 2015!

  4. On the 26th June 2015 – get ready for marriage equality in all states and territories of the United States by a 6-3 SCOTUS decision and Australia will be hung out to dry for next 6 years on STIL BANNING GAY MARRIAGE with that sum-bag cunt Tony Abbott as our stupid prime minister!

  5. Hillary’s support for gay marriage came when it was inevitable and no longer controversial. Like most things, she follows the mainstream rather than leads it.
