Erasure singles out a charity

Gay icons Erasure have re-recorded their classic hit A Little Respect for charity.

The song, originally a top 20 smash for the duo in 1988, now features the youth chorus from the Hetrick-Martin Institute and boasts an uplifting new video (below) filmed on the streets of New York’s Greenwich Village.

Otherwise, the new version stays fairly true to the original and should please new and old fans alike.

All proceeds of the track go to the Hetrick-Martin Institute, America’s largest gay and lesbian youth service organisation.

A Little Respect is available to download from iTunes now.
