Altiyan Childs, Australia’s first X Factor winner, has just unveiled his debut video.
Somewhere In The Real World has already been a top 10 hit in Australia and New Zealand for the former forklift driver and the video should help keep sales churning over in the lead up to Christmas.
Filmed in Newtown, the video is a simple affair but successfully captures the sombre tone of the song.
The 35-year-old’s emotional personality became an instant hit with audiences and the singer made national headlines when he escaped from the show to spend an evening meditating in a cave.
Altiyan’s debut album is released on December 10.
