It gets better … and funnier
Queer US comedian Rebecca Drysdale has contributed one of the most inventive — and hilarious — videos of the It Gets Better campaign, creating a queer response of sorts to Britney’s iconic Baby One More Time video — lots of bump ’n’ grind in school uniform.
In the song, Drysdale outlines the typical hassles faced by queer students, before reeling off a list of successful out-and-proud gay people: “Rachel Maddow — huge muff diver, Richard Hatch who won Survivor, Nathan Lane, Truman Capote, even Obi-Wan Kenobi!” Check it out on YouTube by searching for ‘Rebecca Drysdale — It Gets Better’.
