It’s still possible to apply for this year’s Gay Games in Cologne even though the official closing date for registration was May 31.

While many Gay Games sports and cultural events needed exact numbers by that date for event planning purposes, there is still one more chance to participate by getting applications in by June 21.

Would-be participants can be placed on a waiting list where sports and culture organisers will check if a registration is still possible in a specified event.

Applicants need to email waitinglist@games-cologne.de with their full names, date of birth, sport or cultural event they wish to register for and, if necessary, the performance class or division they’re part of for the event.

Applicants will be informed as soon as possible if participation at the event of their choice is still possible and how they should proceed. If registration is possible, organisers will charge an additional service fee of 10 euros for the late registration.
