Improbably named Sydney songstress MonAnnLisa Wilde’s debut EP is short, sharp and to the point — six songs, each blessed with titles like Shut Up The Police and F.U.C.Kill Me, in under 20 minutes. Wilde veers between genres across the six tracks. P

olice is an ill-advised excursion into vocoder-heavy pop, while Last Time I Saw U On Facebook (cringeworthy title aside) is a breezy slice of rock-pop. Opener Love Revolution is a stomping slice of glam rock. There’s enough spark and sass here for several artists, but Wilde would be better served ditching the vocoder and further pursuing her own rock/soul sound.
