Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras announce more DJs for post-parade party

SYDNEY Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras have just announced a slew of new international and Australian DJs as part of the line-up of its Party, in which over 12,000 partygoers are expected to attend when it kicks off straight after the iconic Parade.

One of the most sought after remixers around, Dirty Pop, will make his debut at the Party. The American DJ is prolific in the way he continues to push dance floors to the limit in clubs around the world, and his remixes include the likes of Lady Gaga, Madonna and Beyoncé.

French DJ Ben Manson, a name synonymous with the electronic gay scene in his country, also joins Dirty Pop a first timer on the Mardi Gras Party line-up. Having shared turntables with the likes of David Morales, Manson’s electronic vibes is set to bring sound from Paris and Berlin to Sydney.

Meanwhile, Dutch DJ Rado may have a legion of fans across Europe, but he started his DJ career with a residency at Sydney’s legendary Manacle. He will return to Sydney to play at the Party for the first time, bringing his progressive, tech, and deep-house beats.

Since bringing down the house at the party in 2015, Australia’s own YO! MAFIA will return with more of her hip-hop flavoured tracks. Her genre-smashing sets have seen her tour and DJ support a string of A-List artists including Stevie Wonder, Missy Elliott, Pharrell Williams, Iggy Azalea and more.

Finishing off the Party lineup is another debutant, Australian DJ Haylenise, who has a career spanning 10 years across Australia and New Zealand. Her house beats have graced the club floors of some of Australia’s best party nights and seen her play alongside The Freemasons on numerous occasions.
