Ke$ha’s inner Cannibal

Ke$ha’s inner Cannibal

Over the past year Ke$ha has cemented her status as a genuine pop superstar, scoring four consecutive top five hits from her debut album in Australia.

And her reign shows no sign of letting up with the re-package of “Animal” – now called “Cannibal” – hitting stores this week.

The package contains all fourteen songs from her debut as well as nine tracks and three bonus videos.

A definite highlight is the recent #1 hit “We R Who We R”, which Ke$ha wrote to inspire suicidal gay teenagers and her hilarious exploration of masculinity “Grow A Pear”.

Think of “Cannibal” as Ke$ha’s answer to “The Fame Monster” – a short and sweet collection of tracks to tide fans over until her next proper studio album.

The only difference is Lady Gaga never rhymed ‘famous’ with ‘anus’.

Ke$ha is touring Australia in March to promote the album. That coincides with Mardi Gras, which may or may not be a coincidence! Tickets are on sale now via ticketek.
