The annual Azure Party was shut by police officers with an emergency warrant at 9pm Sunday night, two hours before its scheduled finish.

The police arrested 26 party-goers and charged them with a variety of drug possession and supply offences. They then sought an emergency closure order from a magistrate, which was granted, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
