THE Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) is hosting its 28th annual auction this Thursday and is promising it will be glitzier and more exciting than ever.

Lesley Hancock and Brendan Hay will be hosting the event alongside a number of comedy and cabaret performances. Bobby Goldsmith’s sister Wendy White will be a special speaker on the night.

The auction is BGF’s most significant annual fundraising event and the money raised will provide support for people living with HIV (PLHIV).

In 2015, BGF worked with more than 1,000 PLHIV in NSW because stigma, isolation and poverty are still major factors that have negative impacts on their lives.

Items up for auction include; a personal message from Dannii Minogue to accompany the boots she wore to the 2015 Mardi Gras, holiday homes in Bali, Hamilton Island, Great Mackerel Beach and Culburra, catered dinners at home by Christine Manfield and Kitchen Social, dinner at NSW Parliament House, exclusive tickets to shows, restaurant vouchers, wine, flights and accommodation pack, and more.

Four contemporary artists, Luis Urribarri, Matthew Schwenk, Christopher Lewis and Alun Rhys-Jones have also donated pieces for auction.

The BGF 2016 Auction, Thursday May 5, Cell Block Theatre in the National Art School, Darlinghurst. Tickets available here.
