Bi-identifying men and women interested in reinvigorating the local scene are encouraged to help save Bi-NSW.

The treasurer for Bi-NSW, a once-lively group which lately has become a more casual meeting circle, has put a call out for club members and keen bisexuals to come together on February 21 to strategise.

“It would be great to see each of you, as well as other members of the greater bi community, to propose ideas for getting a ‘bi scene’ happening in Sydney again,” Graham McKay wrote to the group’s online mailing list, encouraging people to “contribute to the visibility of our non-conformist” sexuality.

“I know that we have people around with skills and enthusiasm to make things happen again — so it’s just a matter of pulling all this into an increasing spiral of activity.”

info: The group will meet after Fair Day, on February 21 at the Marlborough Hotel, Newtown, from 6.30pm. For more information, email
