Design your own condom
A national competition for young people to design a limited edition condom tin has been launched, with the aim of “making carrying condoms as normal as carrying a mobile phone”.
The competition is part of the National Sexually Transmissible Infections Prevention Program: Sexual Health Campaign. Over the next fortnight, teams will visit shopping districts and events around Australia targeting young people. The teams will distribute free condoms, lubricant and pocket cards that encourage condom use.
Two winning designs will feature on the condom tins and the winning designers will each be awarded $1000. The competition is open until May 13. People can vote for their favourite design until May 27.
