Up-and-coming DJ Eddie Coulter reveals us his favourite five dance tracks at the moment.

After playing at Home nightclub’s recent Gay Day party and on FBI Radio, Eddie is enjoying his first residency at Deckbar’s new Thursday night event Downtown. Catch him playing there on 31 March from 7pm to 9pm.

SO MANY TIMES (Original Dub Mix)

Gadjo

A real party-setter that just builds and builds, complete with people cheering in the breakdown. This gets the couples on the dancefloor singing to each other every time.

BACK TOGETHER (Seamus Haji Club Mix)

Hardsoul feat. Ron Carroll

A very cool remix of this timeless classic has been beefed up with some Latin percussion and a breakdown which stops you dead in your tracks, then builds you back up with its singalong vocals. Just my style.

SHAKE ME (Original Sax Mix)

John Modena

A chunky little nugget with a fat bass line, nice sax breakdown and just a hint of vocal to keep you guessing. A huge track you can take anywhere.

DOING MY OWN THING (Ian Carey Remix)

Kid Creme

Ian Carey does a great job with a peak-time remix of this already popular track. It starts with a spoken word and filtered guitar intro to hype you up before dropping a big sliding bass line. Really gets them moving.

GET OVER HERE (Axwell Remix Mode)

Rasmus Faber feat. Melo

Axwell does it again with a remix that just flies! I’ve been using this as a closing track lately at my parties. A real hands-in-the-air chorus with great harmonies and key shift which always leaves you wanting more.
