In a setback for religious leaders who say gays have no place in religion, a UK survey has found half of British gay men hold some type of religious belief.The Gay Times magazine online poll showed 50 percent of the approximately 2,000 respondents answered yes when asked do you hold any religious beliefs?, Gay.com reported.Respondents did not specify their religious affiliations.The survey comes as the Anglican Church faces a split over gay rights and the Catholic Church maintains its anti-gay line.Gay Times editor Vicky Powell said the poll compelled religious groups to include the gay community.
