LaBruce, le photographe
Fashion and art have dinner and get a room together at the Australian Centre For Photography from 2 May in the exhibition No More Than I Know. Photographers who have contributed to style magazines such as i-D, Colors, Interview and Vogue are featured in the show, including David Armstrong, Rachael Cassells (whose image Christian Monson LA, 2002 is pictured) and Ingvar Kenne. Work by the very fabulous Bruce LaBruce is also featured. LaBruce is most infamous for his films Hustler White, Super 8 1/2 and No Skin Off My Ass, Warholesque excursions that satirise and celebrate gay porn, skinhead culture, amputee sex and pretty much every other potentially offensive concept/practice. No More Than I Know runs until 8 June at the gallery at 257 Oxford Street, Paddington.
