It can be so hard to overcome musical prejudice. LeAnn Rimes used to be so annoyingly young and full of white American trailer trashiness that listening to her first double Grammy award-winner Blue was an irritating prospect. Cut to six years later and our little LeAnn’s all grown up, and somehow is so much less annoying. Her second single, Suddenly, off her Twisted Angel album is a decent pop slash rock song with only a hint of the countries. LeAnn always could sing of course, but now it seems she’s using her voice for good instead of evil. We can all be grateful. There’s even a pretty camp Almighty Mix on this single release which should already be heard on cheesy dancefloors all over town.
