Sydney resident Gina Potter is heading to the Chicago Gay Games after winning what is believed to be Australia’s first national lesbian pool competition.Potter beat four other finalists in the grrls on cue grand final at the Imperial Hotel in Erskineville last week.Potter, a silver medallist in pool at the 2002 Sydney Gay Games, heads to Chicago in July to take part in the pool competition.grrls on cue drew participants from around Australia, and organisers are planning a second season soon.Meantime, Chicago Gay Games organisers have announced comedian and gay favourite Margaret Cho and singer Cyndi Lauper will appear in the Games’ opening ceremony on 15 July.
