  1. Hi Pete, the Sydney Star Observer has been reporting on the Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Bill since April last year and was the first publication in Australia to do so.

We reported on the escalation of political and religious homophobia in the country for at least a year before that.

We continue to follow events in Uganda, and will report back again when there are major developments.

  2. And in case you are too lazy to look it up:

Have a look maybe it may make for a nice Monday Newspaper read.

Given you clearly missed the coverage we have given the piece so far, and you obviously haven’t searched our site for it, I thought I would provide you with a handful of links on some of the major stories we have published to date on the topic.
I you would like to know more, just type UGANDA into the search engine of the http://www.starobserver.com.au website

  3. And SSO can you keep up with this serious subject or are we going to find that a week after MG we have serious anti-gay laws having passed in Africa amongst the fabulous MG photos?

  4. Thank god NMG have allowed CAAH to be in the parade this year.(Thanks NMG so courgaeous of you). They are about the only g+l organisation that says and does anything g+l political.
The rest might as well just put up a banner with their name on it and have some kylie minogue dancing marching boys behind them.
Lets hope Amnesty or dare I say it the Labour party float say something about the scandolous anti gay laws about to be passed in half of Africa. And we have given these countries millions in AID money.WHAT a JOKE and no-ne does anything!!
