Do you like kissing underwater? Glimpses of flesh? A party with an edge? Then tighten your Speedos because the infamous Mardi Gras pool party is taking place at the Victoria Park Pool on Saturday 16 February.

It’s on Fair Day eve and it’s expected to be better than last year. Starting at 7pm, the night will be shaped by fantastic lighting and music by DJs Sista P and Luke Leal.

“It’s a mixed event with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Think along the same lines as the white party in Florida and Palm Springs,” party director David Imrie said.

“The night will be fuelled by upbeat music which is going to lift your spirits for Mardi Gras.”

As well as the music there will be a super sexy swimwear show by Lenya Jones called Slippery When Wet.

“The show is hosted by Tora Hymem and the show itself is a really sexy and cheeky fashion show with a touch of dance – it’s going to put everyone in the party mood,” Imrie said.

The Go-Go Boys from the Midnight Shift and Aussie Pole Boys will also make an appearance, as well as the boys from Gaydar, who are back to play all sorts of games.

“It’s a different event from other parties – that’s because of the wet element. It’s going to be a lot of fun getting together and splashing around,” Imrie said.
