Mardi Gras release more tickets
New Mardi Gras have released another 1,500 tickets to the official party on 1 March after the initial release sold out yesterday.
Two additional dance spaces are currently being negotiated at the Entertainment Quarter.
The member discount price of $120 will also run out this Sunday. Full price tickets at $150 remain on sale through www.ticketek.com.au.
Even if the party does not sell out, tickets will not be available on the door.
New Mardi Gras Chair Marcus Bourget said pre-sale only policy was designed to assist crowd control on the night.
