A new exhibition by Max Kreijn plays with notions of collage, with painting and photography merging to create something slightly surreal and erotic. The works in Double Take are all photographs of models or animals taken in front of Kreijn’s paintings, providing an unreal backdrop to the figures (such as in Alcazar -“ Antonio, 2002, pictured). The exhibition runs until 28 April at the Martin Browne Fine Art Gallery at 22 Macleay Street, Potts Point. Gallery hours are 11am to 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday -“ phone 9331 0100 for more information.
