Visual artist Andy Davey continues his exploration of the cultural and aesthetic significance of gold, gold, gold, with his latest exhibition disPlay opening this Friday 18 October at the Museum of Sydney. Ignatius Jones opens the exhibition at the Museum of Sydney consisting of the world’s largest gold mirror ball which will rotate for the duration of the Games in a glass-encased viewing cube. The Museum is at the corner of Bridge and Phillip Streets and the mirror ball will be visible from the street, especially at night when it will be spotlit throughout the Games with club lighting.
