MORE CANADIANS SUPPORT SAME-SEX MARRIAGE: SURVEY
About 57 percent of Canadians think same-sex marriage is a good thing, according to new survey results.
According to 365gay.com the Research and Information on Canada and Environics survey showed 57 percent of Canadians supported equal marriage, while 38 percent were opposed.
The results showed support for same-sex marriage was growing. A poll in September 2003 showed 48 percent of Canadians were in favour of equal marriage rights, while 47 percent were opposed.
