Music bent and classical

Two free musical events are being held this Saturday 16 February, as part of the Mardi Gras Festival. The Sydney Gay And Lesbian Choir will fill the Queen Victoria Building with their dulcet tones, for three performances at noon, 12:45pm and 1:30pm. After that it’s a brisk walk to the Paddington Town Hall, 247 Oxford Street, Paddington, for the afternoon prom Classically Bent. South Sydney Council is presenting the concert of music ranging from Schubert and Verdi to German cabaret and Noel Coward. Bring a cushion, rug and a picnic to Classically Bent, which kicks off at 3pm. Both events are free.
