New boss for gay tourism group
Gay and Lesbian Tourism Australia (GALTA) has elected Vincent Cooper from Quest in Brisbane’s North Quay to serve as managing director. Cooper was elected at GALTA’s annual general meeting last week, and was joined by two other new board members, Michael Williams from Turtle Cove and Greg Adkins from Tearaway Travel. Cooper said GALTA would work towards building the profile of gay and lesbian tourism. GALTA has a new website at www.galta.com.au.
