The Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby launched their re-designed website with some help from attorney-general Bob Debus last week.

Debus was on hand at Global Gossip internet caf?o click the first mouse on the updated site. The new website includes up-to-date fact sheets on gay and lesbian rights issues, events, campaigns and sponsors and all content has been designed by Lobby volunteers.

The attorney-general said the website was a great achievement, especially for a volunteer-based organisation.

Equality of rights is an issue for everyone, and the website will provide an easy way for the community to access a range of important information, he said.

Lobby co-convenor Somali Ghosh said the website was particularly targeting gay and lesbian people in rural and regional NSW, who might not have easy access to information about their rights.
