New Mardi Gras will host a community consultation to discuss possible changes to the 2006 Mardi Gras season. NMG chair Marcus Bourget said while discussions about next year’s season had been under way for several months, they were open to different ideas and suggestions. Topics for discussion include a possible gold coin donation for Fair Day entry, the return of pool parties, changes to the season launch and presentation rights to the parade.The consultation will take place at Petersham RSL on Saturday 5 November from noon.
